P6/7 enjoyed Scripture Union club. Mrs Bamford, Mrs Calderwood and Mrs Millar all kindly gave of their time to offer the children this wonderful opportunity. This week they were thinking about Christmas and made these great Christingles, which I’m sure they will enjoy eating!
P6/7 enjoyed planting yellow crocus bulbs in the shape of a star as part of this project. The crocus project reminds children of the dangers of racism and discrimination by looking at how the Jewish children had to wear a yellow star on their clothes during WWII. We thought about how important it is to respect everyone regardless of whether they have the same religious beliefs as you or not.

We think it is really important that everyone plays their part in helping end bullying. You can see the information here.
We are delighted to welcome Lynda (CEF) to school assemblies. Lynda shared a story of a missionary to Africa with P1-3 and reminded them that God hears us when we talk to Him.
